McGregor wants Mayweather rematch: 'I'll send his head into the bleachers'

Conor McGregor sounds eager to get a second crack at Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The UFC star was asked about a possible rematch of their August 2017 fight during a recent

Q-and-A in Chicago and said he believes Mayweather will need to come out of retirement again due to his spending habits.

"He gets his money and then it comes right back down, he must step back into the ring so I'll be here ready for him," McGregor said, according to Mike Pendleton of BJPenn.com. "I'll be here ready and confident."

McGregor expects things to go much differently if they do square off again.

"Next camp, and I do believe it should happen, I mean, why not? Why not? If I have sparring partners in my camp that march forward, trust me when I tell you, I'll send his head into the bleachers," McGregor said.

Mayweather, meanwhile, has brushed off talk of rematches against McGregor and Canelo Alvarez, telling TMZ Sports recently, "Everybody wants a rematch with me, don't worry about that."
